Voted 2013 Best Sex Educator by SF Weekly Magazine and “50 Fierce Femmes” in 2014, Sexuality educator, author, and San Francisco-based artist Midori has made an amazing career out of being the traveling coach on the art of creative and sensual living.
Dubbed “the supernova of kink” by Dan Savage, Midori is known for her hilarious and practical classes on enhancing sexual fulfillment, boosting confidence and expanding personal growth. Native of Tokyo, Japan, she brings a unique perspective of pleasure and authentic living.
She wrote the English-language book on Shibari, Seductive Art of Japanese Bondage, as well as Wild Side Sex: The Book of Kink and twisted sci-fi in Master Han’s Daughter.
She leads transformative small group intensives, including Rope Dojo ®, ForteFemme: Women’s Dominance Weekend Intensive and Passionate Bonds: Creating Effective D/s Protocol.
When she’s not traveling and teaching, Midori is creating provocative and haunting art and performances.

In light of the Philadelphia’s recent loss of a true renegade, The Diabolique Foundation will honor Gloria Casarez with a posthumous Diabolique Community Service Award. The Philadelphia Dyke March will be there to accept on her behalf and rally us all to continue the Revolution!

All ticket proceeds from Diaboliuqe 2014 benefit the following:
ActionAIDS is a Philadelphia organization committed to creating an AIDS-free generation through a combination of proven strategies. Services include case management, HIV testing, prevention education, supportive housing, HIV treatment as prevention and volunteer services.
The Testing Center at Phiadelphia AIDS Thrift is a new project launching in 2015. Funds raised through Diabolique Ball will be used for construction of a clean and modern space for in-store confidential and free HIV/ STI testing at their 5th Street location.

The Carter / Johnson Leather Library is a non-profit organization that manages a traveling collection of thousands of books, magazines, posters, art, club and event pins, newspapers, event programs and ephemera showing leather, fetish, S/M erotic history. They have graciously provided Diabolique Ball with slides highlighting the primal urges humans have expressed throughout history.
